I once worked as a paramedic in a town of about 5,000 people. At the busiest intersection, there was a low speed motor vehicle collision that caused minimal damage. One of the drivers walked over to see if the other driver was okay. The other driver was a woman of about 30 years who hadn’t been wearing a seatbelt. Her head hit the corner post and she received a small cut on her forehead. She had about 20 drops of blood running down her face which made the injury look much worse than it actually was. Unfortunately for the other driver, he could not stand the sight of blood and fainted.
